I love poetry! I hate New Horizon "poetry." Matter of fact, I have a mad love for Byron (and an irrational yet righteous fury for Wordsworth).

Otaku is saying he likes to touch little keyboards, obviously.

If I should die, think only this of me.
Some small corner of some foreign field is forever England.

I have totally ruined a sandwich for my students. The other day, a JTE asked me in class if I like 'BL'. Evidently, it's a new J-slang going around in my JHS. We kinda of have a carefree classroom with great, genki but easy-going students.

I asked what 'BL' meant. A student pipes out, "Boy Love!" I told them, "No...but I love BLT!" It didn't take them love to put together what the 'T' stood for.

They will never be able to eat that sandwich again without thinking gay thoughts. :)

Today in class, whilst studying One World, page 52, I chuckled to myself as I watched a student copy "Jun is cute!" into his notebook as "Jun is a cunt!" .

hehehe

IN 3rd year during 2nd period today, helping a JTE do the reading with students. We are doing the rosa parks reading. Where she would not give up her seat. we were doing listen and repeat. The reading was " the driver said, give up your seat or you will be arrested." well the boy in front of me said "give up your shirt or you will be arrested." hahahaha everyone heard including the JTE. Wonder what he was thinking about while looking at rosa parks.

The other day I was walking with some girl students towards the station and they tried a bit to talk in English:
She: Eigo nigatte.. I..don't speak..English..
Me: Why not?
She: Because...I'm.. Japaninjin..
Me laughing: Oh, you're a Japanese carrot?

Guess I got two contributions to this thread.

The last couple of weeks I've seen a senior citizen help the students across the road near the school, and every morning he greets me and says something about the weather or well just about anything. This morning he came up to me and said "Good morning! Catch a cold!" and gave me a big smile. And I didn't want to correct him :(

During 2nd period today one of the students wrote the following (7th chapter new horizon about comparing stuff)

"Which do you like better, Math or English?"
"I like meth better than math"

Reading that sentence wasn't easy, especially keeping my head cool and just pointing out the spelling.
