Disheartened by MEXT + Eigo note

Surely amanojaku must have known/expect there to be a certain amount of reaction regarding his comments as they were fairly challenging to begin with! If we had all said "yes you are absolutely correct and every point you made is the truth" would that have made us less of a clique? There WERE quite a few good points and I was looking forward to the discourse and discussion that seemed to be coming. Pulling out and deleting comments like that does seem rather childish.
I have actually never seen anything like that before on this or any other forum.
oh well.

Well when I get the chance and in the information that is left from his posts in other replies that are quoted I plan to make a few comments.
