To whomever deleted the "I am a teacher..." topic. It seems I have offended you in some way. I commented on a grammatical error I found in the OP. I pointed out the error, and explained why it was wrong. And I added a little more commentary to add to what another member had posted in reply to the OP. I commented on and corrected a point, and was careful not to make it seem as critical of, or insulting to, anyone. It appears as though I did not try hard enough. My apologies if any offence was taken. None was intended.

First off, no need to apologize for anything in a separate thread.

Now then, I am not sure what thread you are referring to and will do a bit of research, I can tell you this though, there are only two people here capable of doing anything within the forum itself with regards to posts, threads and what not, me, and Otaku.

I will get back with you on this thread and tell you what I found out.

Upon a quick perusal of the logs here I can not find the post or thread that you are referring to. This is not to say that it didnt exist, it just means I can not find it now.

Do you recall who wrote the post or thread you were replying to?

The topic starter was Paul. The OP had two sentences something like this:

I am a teacher. I teach English.

The OP joined them like this:

I am a teacher, who teaches English.

They asked why the verb teach takes on the es ending. His question was answered well by jesen100 (IIRC). I pointed out the error using a comma to join those sentences, and added to j100's commentary.

Maybe I can help. Tom-bomb, this is a forum. There is plenty on here about anything and everything. Creating a new thread like this..."Hurt Feelings" will not only bring you later pain on the forum from rash lashings, but it also makes you seem like a prick. What makes you seem even more like a prick, Im not saying that you are, is posting it in the problems and suggestions page without stern references to whom you are discussing. If you want to call people out over something, please do so but with information next time. You are welcome to bitch at whomever you feel you need to, but lets make it creative eh? I am no stranger to it when its done well, but uninformative, whiney business in the last sub is not something I want to read. Rambling garbage involving unicorns and massacres is what brings in the ratings Tom. Please find your suspect and punish with words in a less formal way. Thank you.

Uuumm, not to play sides but BT did prove that the thread he spoke of existed.

Now, it doesn't. It's weird.

The admin logs track every single action that we've done on the admin side of the site. The logs show that the admins have done nothing to erase such a thread.

I've also checked the moderator logs to see if anything turned up. I went as far back as Feb 1, 2011. NOTHING.

The dude has a legitimate gripe. I simple don't have an answer, except to say that thread has been raptured into forum heaven.

Ok now then seeing as how the thread once existed thanks to Tom's diligent work in finding it on google's cash, I see no further benefit from allowing this to sink into any further mayhem or discussion.

While he brought the issue to our attention in a unique manner and giving him the benefit of the doubt as a new user I do not think anyone should feel it necessary to downplay his methods.

I went through the logs as well and could not find anything either. Sorry Tom, and thank you for assisting in finding the thread.
