Ok fine if that's the case what's the point of having an abc listing choice available as an option on the menu for that page?
When you click on the Members button it's not in alphabetical order, but if you click on USERNAME, the list gets sorted into alphabetical order. I actually think having the 'abc listing' option is nice and this is why. If you click into the member section and the names were automatically sorted into alphabetical order, having the the 'abc listing' present as well kinda seems like a double redundancy thing to me. Having the 'abc listing' present, while at the same time sorting the member list in some other way than alphabetical order kinda gives the user a two-for-one option.
In other words, if I am going into the member list to look for a specfic somebody, I would probably click directly on the letter of that somebody in the 'abc listing'. There would be no reason to browse the member list. However, if I've been surfing the forum for awhile and then want to look up a member but can't remember their name, chances are it would be easier to look them up via who had joined the forum the most recently.
Does that make sense or have I just confused you even more?
