HS Submissions

Postby Satyne on Tue Jul 21, 2009 12:03 pm

Howzit everybody!?

Firstly, I'd like to thank the folks who have submitted HS activities over the past few months... the page is looking good thanks to y'all. But I would luuuuuuuuuuuuuurve a few more submissions. Warm up activities, long-term projects that you may have done for your elective classes, English Club games, reading activities, regular OC stuff, anything and everything is welcome.

I'll try to get everything more streamlined once I have a few more activities to work with.

:moonwalk:

Cheers

Natasha

These emotes are fun :cabbagepatch:

Howzit all

It's me again. I'm back from moving/changing jobs/battling swine flu/etc etc and raring to go. So I would kinda love to be getting some of your fabulous submissions. I'm currently uploading some much appreciated activities from the lovely ALTs of fair Ishikawa-ken but once I'm done with those I'll be sitting here, twiddling my little thumbs waiting for more. So anything from you guys would be appreciated.

Cheers and all!

Even though this thread is over a year old, I recently submitted some small activities I did when I was teaching high school. Hope some people use them once published.

Yeah, the HS Project Manager went missing recently, so I had to let her go. Kinda in a transition period right now. If you know of any eager volunteers, let me know. :)

I'll get your submissions posted soon. Kinda backlogged at the moment.

Hi, I've recently been thinking about making a shared file for HS ALTs in my area based on common textbooks, and someone mentioned this site to me. Unfortunately it is severely lacking in info for HS ALTs, like basically every other site is. I might be willing to help make the HS section of this website! Since I'm going to do it for local ALTs anyway, I thought I might as well make it available to everyone, even though we might use different textbooks over here in Kochi.

How can I help?

If you're talking about submitting the article to the website, you can attach it and send it directly to my email account: schoolofthought (at) jhsenglipediaproject (dot) com

Like Paul, I too would like to read what you write up...

Thanks. I've just recently submitted another High School worksheet, or better yet a test and study sheet for oral communication classes. It's something that I recently did and hope it's good enough to be published. I was looking at the article sections and said that it was looking for articles on English clubs, the article I'm working on is going to include English clubs as well. Right now, my article is in its outline phase. It may take me a few weeks to write out. Some of it looks like "well, no duh," stuff I've written down, but hopefully, despite "ESID," I can make it universally for everyone.

My goal for the Article section of the website is to provide all kinds of points-of-view to people who may/may not about the topic being written about.

Each article is considering a 'jumping off point', meaning the start of a discussion, whereas it has a comment box area below it to allow people to discussion varying points of view, ideas, etc.
