Wait a minute who built this tunnel anyway how are these restrictions physically possible? Since it is a tunnel single file MUST be possible! Answer:
Mom and dad go (2 mins)
Dad comes back (1 min) Hands the torch to kids.
Bro and Sis go. (5 mins)
Mom goes back to dad with the torch. (2 minutes)
Dad and Mom go back to meet the kiddies! (2 minutes)

The answer: First mom and dad – 2 minutes. Dad comes back – 3 minutes, both children go to mom – 8 minutes. Mom comes to dad – 10 minutes and they both get to their children – 12 minutes.
