Yeah, MEXT those people! FAT has nothing to do with being veggan. It's simply called I'm-too-friggin-lazy-to-get-off-the-couch-and-exercise syndrome.

“It ought to come with a warning label so consumers understand the health risk.”

dumb MEXT comments like this make me hate humanity.

The drawing illustrating open and closed...I don't know what to say about that. If someone doesn't know what open and closed are they are not using English as a language and should probably not have their instructions in English.

Benoit,

I worked in a hotel in China for a year and a half, and I lost count of the times I found footprints on the toilet seat.
The "Caution: contents are hot" is the result of McDonalds getting sued a few years back cause a woman burnt herself on the coffee.

This is one of my favorite:

When I first got to Japan I got a satellite dish with a list of warnings like this. The best one was the one where a person was trying to take a big bite out of the dish with a huge red cross though the picture.

Heh

Indeed. It must be a magic table of some kind. Also, it seems that the table has the power to turn to rubber in direct sunlight. What an amazing piece of furniture.

I indeed knew someone who tried to iron his S2000 gear whilst on his body. He burned himself pretty badly and was commonly refered to as 'dipshit' by the NCOs there-after. His excuse was, 'he was in a rush and his shirt didn't have a flat enough pocket', whilst I commend the man on his admin, I wouldn't be recommending him to MI any time soon.

the seito-shido teacher used the pet in a microwave example in a speech like an hour after i showed it to her. there was some kid who wrote a bunch of nonsense about another kid and posed as another kid on some internet forum. which lead to her address at an all school assembly. she said, just like nobody should be so stupid to think that they can use their microwave to dry their pet, nobody should be so stupid to use the internet in such a fashion.

back to the cheese though, do they sell good cheese on millitary bases?

The word "good" is relative. Yes they have cheese, block cheese, and a number of different varieties as well. Japanese stores carry good cheese too, but it's way too expensive for the size of the portion sold.

I bought some delightful cheese from Seido, I think it's called that. Rather expensive though.

I am a rabid meat eater, but cheese is the one thing that I agree with the vegans on. Just thinking about cheese makes me sick. :puke:

It's all because of that one Simpsons episode where homer sits down to eat the 100 individually wrapped american cheese slices. I tried the same thing, got sick and now I can't even look at cheese straight.

idk why you would eat even one of those slices of american cheese let alone 100. that shit is made exclusively for sandwiches and cheeseburgers. im getting sick just thinking about what you have done.

I can't quite remember myself, but I think my friend challenged me to do it. A challenge is a challenge so I tried and failed. Live and learn I guess hah.

Sliced cheese is not cheese really, it's made from the byproducts of cheese production and "other" stuff. Real cheese is 100% CHEESE!

I understand fully, it's the same with me and bananas. [rage] When I was in HS I had a part-time job peeling and slicing bananas for ice-cream sundaes. Nearly everyday I peeled and sliced in the neighborhood of 100 kg over 200lbs of bananas. To this day I can not stand anything related to bananas. [bat]
