So when you're complaining about the snow that's in the mix of precipitation blanketing Milwaukee through Tuesday morning, think of the residents of Rhinelander.
They were hit with 4 inches of snow between Sunday night and midday Monday.
Or provide some sympathy for the folks in Three Lakes in Oneida County and Phelps in Vilas County: They received 6 inches of snow.
"It's just a reminder that you live in Wisconsin," said Penny Zabel, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Sullivan.
By Tuesday morning, Milwaukee was expected to have a dusting of snow from the late April storm that's barreling through the state. Inland locations in southern Wisconsin, including Madison, could receive less than an inch of snow.
No accumulation is expected in the Milwaukee area, said Brian Gotter, meteorologist with WTMJ-TV (Channel 4).
But places farther north will get hit like Milwaukee in December, at least for a little while. Snowfall totals in northern Wisconsin could reach 10 inches, Zabel said.
But even in the northern reaches, the snow should melt later this week.
Forecasts in much of the state call for high temperatures in the 50s by Wednesday and the 60s by Thursday, Gotter said. Highs Thursday and Friday in the Milwaukee area could be in the 70s.

Damn I miss snow, especially when its this late in the season......
